11.7 Conclusions
The main focus of this research was to develop an economic, fast and ver-
satile method for the removal of hazardous Azo dyes from wastewater and
to utillize waste material Hen Feather as potential adsorbent. The research
presented in this chapter clearly establishes that all Hen Feather can be
successfully employed as adsorbent for the removal of toxic Azo dyes from
wastewaters. Since this waste material is available in plenty and its disposal
has always been a problem, its utilization for such a noble cause is indeed a
thriving attempt for the benefit of mankind. Results presented in this chap-
ter evidently indicate that detailed and systematic studies have been made
throughout the development of the dye eradication process.
Thus, it is very safe to conclude that Hen Feather act as an effective and eco-
friendly adsorbent for the removal of highly hazardous organic pollutants-
Azo dyes from wastewater and the adsorption processes developed during
the course of present investigations are efficient, eco-friendly and economic.
