Rather than marching straight through the parameters, school-book style, let's approach them with a
view to the result in mind. The most logical first step is to narrow the spread on the particles as they
rise. In Shuriken, the spread is part of the Shape parameters.
The top half of the Particle System component is for the parameters that are always in play. The
lower section has modules that are optional. Two, the Emission and the Shape, are turned on by
default (Figure 8-18 ).
