WAN Design
This chapter covers wide-area network (WAN) designs for the enterprise WAN and enter-
prise branch architecture. It starts out by reviewing traditional WAN technologies and net-
work topologies. Remote-access design is examined with an emphasis on virtual private
networks (VPN). Next, enterprise VPNs are compared and contrasted with service
