Now that you have a little background on how things are logically architected, it's time
to get a closer look at the APEX development environment. This section introduces
you to the different sections of the APEX environment and gives you an overview of
how things are laid out.
Figure 2-5
shows a hierarchical layout of the APEX menu structure. Later, you look
at each of the main sections and glimpse what's under the covers; this is just an intro-
ductory tour. You get a much deeper look as we work our way through the develop-
ment processes.
