When using SQL tags, you need to explicitly define whether the query will return a
single value or multiple rows and columns. A SQL tag defined as sqlvalue: means a
single value will be returned and be embedded within a sentence such that the single
value appears as a word in the sentence. Using sql: means multiple rows and columns
will be returned. When a query returns multiple rows, its results are displayed in the
spreadsheet-like format you see in Figure 12-22 .
The search box in Figure 12-22 is a result of the second query returning multiple
rows. Whenever a query's results are displayed as a spreadsheet-like grid, that grid is
preceded by a search box that you can use to quickly find specific result rows.
Access Controls
The last thing you need to do for the application is give the other players on the team
access to it. You already gave access to Martin when you created the application. You
need to give the other players, Chris and Cameron, access to view the application. To
grant access to the application, follow these steps:
1.
Click the Administration tab at the top of the screen.
2.
Click the Access Control option in the drop-down menu.
3.
Click the Create Entry button.
4.
Enter Chris for Username , and select Reader for Privilege . Click the
Create and Create Another button.
