You then see the page shown in

, which presents a list of the packaged ap-
plications included with APEX 4.2. Although there are a number of applications in the
Sample category aimed at helping you learn and understand some of the finer points of
what APEX is capable of, many of the applications that are included with APEX 4.2
are hardened and can be used in production environments. The filters at the top of the
page allow you to narrow the applications you see by type and by whether the applica-
tion is already installed.
