TIKLING ISLAND
Island
One of the underrated gems of the Philippines, Tiking Island is a green clump of loveliness
wreathed in rare, rose-hued pink sand, with shady groves of palm trees, good snorkelling
and hardly a traveller to be seen. You can come here and camp and basically bliss out with
nothing to do.
CARAMOAN PENINSULA
Beach
A lonely appendage of land rubs the teal underbelly of the ocean with a sugar-sand coast,
limestone cliffs and dark tufts of jungle. This is stunningly beautiful scenery that reminds
one of the picture-perfect film The Beach . Soon, we think Caramoan will be shouted across
travel circles, rather than whispered about.
