Travel by Air
The Maine Department of Tourism furnishes the following information to
visitors. In addition to flights directly into Maine, some visitors also fly
into Logan Airport in Boston and rent a car to drive up to Maine. Others
fly into Manchester, New Hampshire and then drive over. Beware,
though, the drive can take several hours. Many small towns, such as
Jackman, Bethel, Greenville and Millinocket, have paved airfields best
suited for smaller private aircraft.
