shop showing tools and methods used prior to 1835.

Augusta
Blaine House (1833), 192 State Street. Home of James G. Blaine. The
house was given to the State of Maine in 1919 to be used as the governor's
mansion. Frederick Law Olmsted designed the front entrance, which was
completed in 1990. Grounds are being restored in the spirit of the original
Olmsted plan.
