Snowmobiling
Because of its proximity to the ocean, and the propensity of
snowstorms to often turn to rain before they end, riding Down
East is spotty. When the snow is right there is a good half- to full
day of snowmobiling possible in Acadia National Park. One lane of the

is left unplowed and machines are allowed anywhere on
