Petit Manan Light . Graceful 119-foot granite tower erected on treeless
offshore island in 1855. Island used for seabird research. Boat access

Emms Rock Light . 28-foot high stone tower erected at the entrance to
Moosabec Reach in mid-1800s. Boat access only.
Dog Island Light . Steel skeleton tower 32 feet high. Built on east side of
Eastport riverbank in 1919. Marks site of second-largest tidal whirlpool
in the world.
Whitlock Mill Light . 32-foot tapered stone tower erected in 1892 on
American side of St. Croix River in Calais.
Nash Island Light . 30-foot square masonry tower built on offshore is-
land in 1838. Boat access only.
Moose Peak Light . 60-foot tapered tower built in 1827 on offshore is-
land off Beals Island. Boat access only.
Little River Light . 40-foot cast-iron tower built on small island at the
entrance of Cutler Harbor in 1817. Boat access only. View from trails on

West Quoddy Head Light . Distinctive 50-foot red and white brick
tower on high headland on the United States' easternmost point. Built in
1808. Good road and foot access.
Lubec Channel Light . 50-foot iron and brick tower built on a ledge on
the west side of the St. Croix River channel in Lubec in 1890. View from

St. Croix Light . 40-foot stone tower on island bisected by the interna-
tional boundary with Canada. Built in 1857. Boat access only.
