weeks at the end of April and another two weeks at the end of October.

Moody's Diner

when you drive by this US 1 institution and notice the parking lot is full
of pickups and police cars. Moody's serves good, old-fashioned diner food
ranging from burgers and pot roast to breakfast and liver and onions
with French fries. Open 24 hours a day, every day except Christmas Day.
We'd say inexpensive, but the folks at Moody's would probably have us
say “damn cheap.” No need to call first; just come on down.
Wiscasset
Muddy Rudder Restaurant

until 11 pm, year-round, this full-service establishment offers one of the
widest menu selections on the coast. Traditional Maine fare, lobsters,
chowder, seafood, steaks. Children's menu. Cocktails. Turn right on the
east shore of Sheepscot River after you cross the bridge. Good sunset
views. Moderate.
