Snowmobiling
Spotty snow leaves Mid-Coast snowmobilers ready to rock and
roll as soon as the white stuff hits. It may last only a day or two.
There are no ITS trails in the region. However, there is a maze of
local and club trails stretching from Camden to Augusta. Consult snow-
mobiling clubs in the Appendix.
Adventures On Horseback
Ledgewood Stables , Bradford Road, Wiscasset 04578. Trail
rides through wooded areas. Suitable for all skill levels, both
adults and children. Open daily in season.

icated to breeding and preserving rare livestock, particularly sheep, but
also pigs, cows, goats, horses and poultry. Open daily Memorial Day
through Labor Day. Heirloom gardens, wagon rides, special events, farm
shop and museum. Admission fee.

Apple Picking
Fall is the season for picking fresh apples right off the tree. Here
