ond-oldest one-room school house in Maine. On the National

Maine Maritime Museum , 243 Washington Street. Institution dedi-
cated to preserving and interpreting materials and implements relating
to Maine's maritime heritage. Located on the Kennebec River. Nautical
art galleries, exhibitions and exhibits, shipyard site, special events and
children's program. Occasional river and coastal excursions. Open daily
except Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's.
