Hot Air Balloon Rides
Gliding silently and gently across Maine's spectacular country-
side in a hot air balloon is a very special adventure. Your ears
will ring during the silence after the propane burner is extin-
guished. Even the faintest sounds from the world below become easily
audible and crystal clear. Most trips average an hour of time aloft with
excursions set for the times of day when the air is calm, such as morning
and early evening. Both tethered and free-flight trips are offered; all with
experienced operators. Most firms require reservations and deposits.
Check with your outfitter for the maximum number of people per gondola
