Remodeled and enlarged in the 1760s by Jonathan Sayward, a local mer-

Revival House retains Perkins family furnishings, plus an-

Street (Route 1A). Served as a general store, tailor shop, tav-
ern, post office, and dwelling in 18th and 19th centuries.
George A. Marshall Store Building , Lindsay Road. 19th-
century general store situated on the Hancock Wharf serves
as a gallery for revolving exhibits relating to the history of
York.
Jefferds Tavern , Lindsay Road, just off Route 1A. Saltbox
tavern (mid-18th century) originally located in Wells.
John Hancock Warehouse , Lindsay Road. 18th-century
warehouse with exhibits on life and industry on the York
River.
