Biddeford
Biddeford Historical Society , McArthur Library, 270 Main
Street. Local memorabilia, including town records of Biddeford
(1653-1855) plus common council, alderman and assessors' re-
ports.

First Parish Meeting House (1759), 3 Meeting House Road. Owned by
the Biddeford Historical Society. Boxed pews, cricket kneelers, late 19th-
century organ and lighting.

Cape Elizabeth
Fort Williams Park-Museum at Portland Head Light, 1000 Shore
Road. Grounds of former military installation now open as picnic, play
area. Ocean access (swimming pool). Picturesque lighthouse perched on
rocky outcropping.

Friends Schoolhouse (1841), Raymond/Casco Historical Society, Route
121. One-room school house retained as last used. Many school-related
items of local historical interest.
