4. A pop-out menu displays the shapes. Click the Shapes menu to choose a shape
type.
5. Click a custom shape.
6. All tools have a Shape Style Picker; click this to choose a shape style.
7. Click the Set Color for New Layer palette and select a color from the palette. This
is the fill color for the shape.
8. You can also constrain a shape in its height and width dimensions. Click the Set
Geometry Options menu and choose an option from the list.
9. Based on your Geometry Option setting, other options are accessible under the
menu. Click in the W/H (Width/Height) boxes and set your dimensions.
10. Click the From Center option to set how the image is sized based on its registration
point. The default is the upper-left corner, but you can change this to set the regis-
tration point in the center of the shape.
11. Use the Shape Layer options to add or subtract from a shape on the shape layer.
Click the option that you need to edit your shape.
12. Click Simplify to merge all shapes on a layer into one shape.
13. Click and drag in the photo to create your custom shape.
