1.
In the Expert mode, click the Shape tool from the Toolbox.

In the Tool Options bar, click either the Polygon Shape Tool option or the Star
Shape Tool option.

Click the Sides box and type a number for the shape's sides.

The Star Shape Tool option has an additional option, Indent, which sets how far in
the arms of the star go in the shape. Click the Indent box and type a number as the
percentage of the shape for this indent of the star's arms.
5.
Click a Smooth option to smooth out the edges of the shape.
6.
Click the Set Color for New Layer palette and select a color from the palette. This
is the fill color for the shape.
7.
All tools have a Shape Style Picker; click this to choose a shape style.
8.
Use the Shape Layer options to add or subtract from a shape on the shape layer.
Click the option that you need to edit your shape.
