1. Open or access the Elements Editor by either launching it from the Welcome
Screen or by clicking the Editor button from the Elements Organizer taskbar as
covered earlier in this chapter. By default it displays in the Quick mode.
Access a Tool with a Keystroke
Hover your cursor over a tool in the toolbox to display a Quick Tip listing
the tool name. To the right of the tool name is a letter. This is the keyboard
shortcut for the tool. Press that letter key on your keyboard to access the
tool. In the following figure example, pressing the “c” key on your key-
board initiates the Crop tool.
2. Click a tool to access it.
3. The Tool Options bar displays above the taskbar. Click to select options or click
and drag sliders to adjust slider bar options. Click in text fields or boxes to type
settings. Individual tool settings and options are covered later in the topic.
