Understanding the White Balance Adjustments
You have a choice of using your camera's white balance information or
using the auto White Balance feature of Camera Raw. You can also create
your own custom white balance by using the White Balance tool in the
Toolbox. Select this tool, and then click in the image on a color that you
want to pull from the color cast of the image.
4. To get the most color information from your raw image when applying adjust-
ments, click the Depth menu and choose 16 Bits/Channel.
5. Click and drag the Temperature and Tint sliders to adjust these settings. You can
also click in the Temperature or Tint fields and type a number.
6. If you have Preview selected, the Preview image shows the adjustments and the
Histogram reflects the new color tonal range. This occurs each time you make an
adjustment.
