Camera Raw Save Image Settings
There are two Camera Raw Save Image settings, Camera Raw Database
or Sidecar .xmp. The Camera Raw database indexes by file content and
stores the settings in a Camera Raw database. This retains the Camera
Raw settings even if the file is moved or renamed. The Sidecar XMP set-
ting stores the file content in a separate file that is stored in the same
folder as the Camera Raw file. Refer to Adobe's website,
www.Adobe.com for more information about Camera Raw file types.
13. Click the Apply Sharpening To menu and choose whether to apply sharpening to
All Images or just to the Preview File Only.
14. Choose the Default Image Settings by clicking the options you want.
15. Click the DNG Tile Handling options that you want.
16. Click OK.
17. Rotate left or right to rotate the photo 45 degrees left or right.
18. Mac only, click the Trash icon to mark a photo for deletion. This is a toggle button;
click the Trash icon again to unmark the image for deletion. You cannot delete
Camera Raw files in Camera Raw for Windows.
19. Click the Preview option to deselect it and turn off the preview of changes you
make with the Camera Raw settings. By default this is selected.
