Modifying Existing Shapes
After you have added shapes and/or have painted or drawn on your photo, you can work
with the layers to modify or adjust the shapes. You can use layers and the Shape Selection
Tool option to work with your existing shapes. Use the Paint Bucket tool or the Gradient
tool to change shape fill colors. Also use the Eraser tool to erase areas. Quickly sample col-
ors in the photo to get the exact match you need.
1. To modify a shape, click the Shape tool from the Toolbox.
2. In the Tool Options bar, click the Shape Selection Tool option.
3. Click a shape to make it active. This also selects the layer that the shape exists on.
4. To customize the shape(s) on the layer, click the Shape Layer option and either add
or subtract shapes on the layer.
5. Click the Combine button to combine shapes.
