Foreground and Background Colors
The Color Picker sets colors for both Foreground and Background. By de-
fault, when you click the Color palette, you are setting the Foreground
color. You can click the curved double-headed arrow icon to switch the
foreground color with the background color. To return to the default set-
ting of a white foreground and black background colors, click the black
and white squares icon.
Painting Modes for Blending Colors
Photoshop Elements has the same blending modes of Photoshop CC for its
paint and draw tools, which gives you many choices for your brush. Ex-
periment with these blending modes to see how your brush strokes interact
