To add text to the path, position your cursor on the path. When your cursor be-
comes the I-beam with a squiggle line through it, it has adhered to the path. Click
to set your cursor on the path.

Set the Font formatting options and settings that you want. See the section, “
Creat-
ing Horizontal and Vertical Text
,” earlier in this chapter.

Type your message with the chosen settings.
16.
Click Confirm to save the selection path.
17.
Click Reject to discard the selection path; you can try again by repeating steps
13-16 to create your message along the path.
Creating Warp Text
You might have noticed as we have worked through the Type Tool options that we have not
covered an option—the Create Warped Text option. This option is accessible for the Hori-
zontal/Vertical Type tools and the Horizontal/Vertical Mask tools. When one of these tools
is selected, you can access this option in the Tool Option bar above the Anti-aliasing check
box.
