Click the Quick mode.

Click the Effects button in the taskbar. This button is a toggle button, so if you
click this button again the pane closes.

In the Effects pane, use the scrollbar to scroll through the Effects.

Click the Effect that you want to apply.
6.
Hover your mouse over any of the four preset variations of the Effect to see a
ToolTip of the variation's name.
7.
Click the one you want to apply.
8.
Click the Reset button to reset the photo.
9.
Click the Help button to launch Photo Editor Help for Effects.
