Using the Rectangular and Elliptical Marquee Tools
The Rectangular and Elliptical Marquee tools create rectangular or oval selections. Hold
the Shift key when creating these shapes to constrain the marquee to a circle or square.
1.
In the Photo Editor, open a photo and then click the Expert mode.

Click the Rectangular Marquee tool.
3.
Choose either the Rectangular Marquee or the Elliptical Marquee Tool option.
4.
If you want the edges of the selection with anti-aliasing, check that Anti-aliasing is
selected. By default, this is active for selections. Click it if it is deselected.
