You can also switch back to the tabbed view by choosing Window, Images, Con-
solidate All to Tabs.

Quickly create another copy of the active document by choosing Window, Images,
New Window.

To tile the documents, choose Window, Images, Tile.
Opening a New Blank Document
When opening a blank document, you have the opportunity to configure everything from
size to background contents.
1.
In the Photo Editor, click the Expert mode.
2.
To create a new blank document choose File, New, Blank File.
3.
In the New window, click in the Name field and type a name for the new docu-
ment.
4.
Click the Preset menu.
5.
From the drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
•
Clipboard
—This is the default setting and creates a document based on the
size of the image on the Clipboard from your most recent Copy command.
•
Default Photoshop Elements Size
—This creates a blank document based on
the last document you created.
•
Paper size
—There are four menu options for setting paper size. Choose one of
the menu options.
