Click the Quick mode.

Click the Adjustment button in the taskbar. This button is a toggle button, so if you
click this button again it closes the pane.

In the Adjustments pane, click the adjustment that you want to apply.

Smart Fix
—Use this adjustment to automatically correct exposure, lightening,
color, balance, and sharpen issues in the photo.
•
Exposure
—Use this adjustment to correct exposure issues, such as underex-
posed or overexposed photos.
•
Lighting
—Use this adjustment to correct lighting issues, such as photos that
are too dark or too light, by adjusting the Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights.
•
Color
—Use this adjustment to correct color issues, such as adjusting color sat-
uration, hue, and vibrancy.
•
Balance
—Balance the temperature and tint colors in a photo.
•
Sharpen
—Increase or decrease the contrast in your photo to improve the sharp-
ness of the image.

Each adjustment displays nine preset adjustments as well as a slider bar. Hover
your mouse over any of the nine presets and the photo displays the fix.
6.
If any of the presets fixes the problem, click it.
