Cropping a Photo
Cropping is the most popular edit that people make when enhancing and modifying photos.
Cropping a photo can change the mood and message of a photo. Cropping is cutting away
unwanted images in your photo so that you can focus on an object or view in the photo.
The Photo Editor offers different ways to crop your photos using the Crop tool.
1. Open a photo either from Organizer or from your hard disk in the Photo Editor.
See “ Opening a Photo in Photo Editor ” in this chapter for how to open a photo in
the Photo Editor.
2. Click the Quick mode tab.
3. Click the Crop tool from the Toolbox.
4. Click and choose a preset dimension from the Show Crop Presets Options menu in
the Tool Option bar.
5. To set a custom crop area, click in the W/H boxes and type custom area settings for
the Width and Height.
6. Photo Editor displays Crop Suggestions based on the crop area you chose in step 4.
Hover your cursor over each suggestion and the Viewer reflects this new crop di-
mension applied to the photo.
