3. Click and drag the Zoom slider right to zoom in on the photo so you can see the
eyes clearly. You might need to use the Hand tool to move the photo so that the
eyes are shown in the zoomed-in display.
4. Click the Remove Red Eye tool from the Toolbox.
5. To automatically correct the red eye effect, in the Tool Options bar, click Auto
Correct.
6. To manually correct the red eye effect, first adjust the Remove Red Eye settings by
clicking and dragging the Pupil Radius slider left or right to decrease or increase
the size of the brush tip so it is about the same size as the iris of an eye.
7. Click the Darken slider and drag left or right to darken or lighten the red eye fix
color.
8. Then do one of the following to fix the red eye effect:
• Position your cursor over an iris of the person and click.
• Click and drag a rectangle around the entire eye. If you do not enclose the entire
eye in the rectangle, this technique does not work.
9. Repeat step 8 with the other eye.
10. If you are fixing a pet photo, click the Pet Eye option and repeat steps 3-9.
