Let the Photo Editor Refine the Selection
To let the Photo Editor automatically refine the edge using the Refine
Selection Brush and the Push option, position the cursor either inside or
outside the selection with the outer circle sized to the distance from the se-
lection to the objects edge, and click to push the selection to the object's
edge.
Repeat the clicking process, moving your cursor either inside or outside of
the selection and clicking until you have the selection boundary redefined.
You'll need to adjust the brush size as it controls the size of the outer
circle of the Push option cursor. The size of the outer circle is the key to
how this tool works. It defines the area that the Photo Editor needs to fine-
tune the object's edge. The Photo Editor expands or contracts the selection
boundary to the nearest edge.
16. Click the Smooth Selection option to smooth out the jagged edges in the selection.
17. Again, click and drag along the edges of your selection to smooth out the edges.
18. Work between all these Refine Selection Brush options to refine your selection to
precisely define the object.
