Use Keyboard Keys for Zooming In or Out of a Photo
When you have the Zoom tool selected, you can switch between the Zoom
In and the Zoom Out options by pressing the Command (Mac)/Control
(PC) key on your keyboard to Zoom In and the Option (Mac)/Alt (PC) key
to Zoom Out. Move your cursor into the photo while holding down either
key and then click to initiate the zoom.
Designate an Area for the Zoom
The Zoom tool lets you select an area that you immediately zoom in on
through clicking and dragging. With the Zoom tool, click and drag out a
rectangle that encompasses an area in the photo. When you release the
drag, this selected area fills the Viewer, letting you focus on that area of
the photo to make your edits and modifications.
Use the Hand Tool
The Hand tool lets you move around in the photo. It is a great tool to use with a photo that
you have zoomed in on. You can use it to move the photo so you can see other areas of the
photo that are outside of the zoom area of the photo.
