Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 has photo-editing capabilities. Both components, Organizer
and Photo Editor, have options for modifying and fixing blemishes and camera problems
that can occur in a photo. This chapter covers the photo-editing features of Organizer. You
can quickly crop and resize a photo, as well as rotate any photo in your Catalog. You can
fix red eye, change the contrast, sharpen a photo, and correct image levels and color. Or-
ganizer has an Instant Fix pane that contains all the photo fix options.
Applying Instant Fixes
You can access the Instant Fix options in the Instant Fix pane of Organizer. Similar to how
you access the Tags and Information panel through the Tags/Info button in the taskbar, you
access the Instant Fix pane through the Instant Fix button. There are seven photo fix op-
tions for applying instant fixes to your photos in Organizer. Each option is used to fix a
specific problem that can occur in your photos. You can apply Instant Fixes to the photo
through the thumbnail in the Viewer, as well as in Preview mode.
