Metadata Search Categories
The By Details search command in the Find menu of the menu bar is a
very detailed search. You can create multiple criteria for your search based
on people, places, events, filename, file type, tags, albums, notes, author,
capture date, camera model, shutter speed, and F-stop.
•
By Media Type
—Search by media type of photos, video, audio, projects,
PDFs, or items with audio captions.
•
By History
—Search based on a history of actions you have applied to your me-
dia. You can search based on actions for importing, exporting, emailing, order-
ing, or sharing.
•
By Caption or Note
—Search by caption or note. You can use partial words or
phrases or one specific word.
•
By Filename
—Search by Filename. Search by one word or partial words.
•
All Missing Files
—Find media that has a missing link or a broken link to the
file on your disk drive.
•
All Version Sets
—Find media that you have edited or modified in the Photo
Editor or another external photo editor.
•
All Stacks
—Search based on photo stacks that you created.
•
By Visual Searches
—Search your media based on visually similar photos or
videos, objects in a photo, or find duplicate photos.
•
Items with Unknown Date or Time
—Find media with unknown dates or
times in the metadata info.
•
Untagged Items
—Find all media that have not been tagged with any metadata.
•
Unanalyzed Content
—Find media that have not been analyzed by Auto-ana-
lyzer.
•
Items Not in Any Album
—Find media not associated with an album.
