Apply Multiple Tags to Multiple Photos
You can also apply multiple tags to a selection of multiple photos. To do
this, select the photos you want to tag. In the Information tab click the
Edit IPTC Information button. IPTC stands for International Press Tele-
communications Council. They created this metadata scheme to standard-
ize the transfer of basic metadata values from IPTC fields, which photo-
graphy equipment uses for tagging photos, into the XMP fields and frame-
work that most photo library and cataloging software use for metadata
tags. In the Edit IPTC information window, set your settings and click
Save.
Viewing Metadata Attached to a Photo
At times you will need to review what metadata has been attached to your media. You can
do this through the Information tab of the Tags and Information panel.

In Organizer, click the Media view.

Click to select a photo in the Viewer.

If necessary, click the Tags/Info button in the taskbar to display the Tags and In-
formation panel.
