Preview a Video
If you double-click a video, it opens in a video player window. You can
preview the video by clicking Play. You can jump to the end of the video
by clicking End or jump to the beginning of the video by clicking Start. To
advance through the video, click and drag the Playback slider. To close the
video preview window, click the Close button.
Default Preview File Size
You can control the preview size or dimensions of a photo in the Organ-
izer Preferences. Under the Files category of Preferences, you'll find Off-
line Volumes. The default preview size is set to 640×480 pixels for all me-
dia that you import from an external or mobile device. Remember that Or-
ganizer makes a copy of all media that it imports from an external device,
and it creates a link to the media on your computer disk drive(s) or net-
work. So this preview file size is a setting for the display of any media
from offline volumes. You can change this by clicking the Preview File
Size drop-down menu and choosing a new size.
Organizing Photos
You can control the order of your digital media in the Viewer through the Sort By menu.

Click the Albums tab to view the photos in an album.

Click an album.
3.
Click Sort By to display the drop-down menu. Select one of the menu choices. The
default setting is to display the newest photos first.

Newest
—Sort your media by newest to oldest based on the date the photo was
taken.
•
Oldest
—Sort your media by oldest to newest based on the date the photo was
taken.
•
Name
—Sort by name of the media.
•
Import Batch
—Sort by the date that you imported your photos.
•
Album Order
—Select this option to manually rearrange the photos in the
Viewer based on the album you are viewing.

Select Album Order to manually rearrange your media.
