The Transform Tools
The Transform tools allow you to alter the size, position, orientation, and perspective of the image
and individual layers or selected areas. These features are extremely useful for re-composting images,
straightening crooked images, correcting lens distortion, etc.

One example would be using the Perspective tool to correct the distortion that often results when
photographing a building—an exercise we'll undertake later in this topic. Refer to Table 1-3 below to become
familiar with the name, shortcut, and function of each tool.
