Add Artistic Functionality with G'MIC
The G'MIC plug-in (which we looked at in the Introduction) offers a ton of options for adding artistic
effects. It's well worth taking the time to become familiar with it, to bring out your “inner artist,” especially
if traditional art materials aren't your strong suit. G'MIC is available from www.gmic.sourceforge.net . The
image in Figure 10-4 was converted into a digital pen-and-ink style drawing, by using the Pen Drawing filter
nested within the G'MIC filters.
