Select the Blue color channel and move the black point slider to the right, until
the value is about 30. Move the white point slider to the left, until the value is
about 218. The midpoint slider should be set to around 1.17 (Figure 4-52 ).

Create a new layer and name it Background Color. Set the blend mode to Color .

Using the Color Picker tool, sample some blue from the background in the
image's upper right-hand corner. Paint on the Background Color layer, to replace
some of the blue that faded out (Figure 4-53 ).
