Stream to multiple AirPlay devices from the Remote app
As well as streaming audio to any AirPlay device, the Remote app offers the additional benefit of
streaming to multiple AirPlay devices at once, with a volume control for each speaker.
Tap the Multiple button at the top of the list of AirPlay devices, then select each device to enable.
A volume bar appears under each selected device, as Figure 3-5 shows, which you can adjust as de-
sired. (Tap the Single button to restrict Remote to just one selected device.)
The support for multiple devices is ideal when you're hosting a party to provide music to all your
guests or for more mundane tasks like housework when you are moving from room to room. The Re-
mote app can stream all types of audio to multiple speakers, including audiobooks and podcasts, so
you will never miss a second of your audio as you walk around your house.
