A Day in the Life:
iCloud Music and Movies
So let's imagine you wake up one morning and grab your iPad. You've received an e-mail
from one of your favorite app developers telling you about a brand-new app. You download the
app to your iPad and have a quick play with it before taking a shower.
On your way in to work you decide to listen to some music but remember that you haven't
synced your iPhone recently to add any new music. Fortunately, you've run iTunes Match on
your computer so you launch the Music app on your iPhone and access the album you wanted
to listen to via iCloud.
While you listen, you decide you want to use the new app you downloaded to your iPad.
Thanks to Automatic Downloads, the app is also on your iPhone so you can use it right away.
On your way home, you browse the iTunes Store on your iPhone to pick out an album to
listen to while you make dinner. You preview a few songs before you arrive home and grab your
iPad on your way to the kitchen. By accessing the Preview History list in the iTunes app, you
can view the songs you previewed on your iPhone and choose one to download and listen to.
As you go to bed and plug your iPhone into your alarm clock dock, you fall asleep listening
to your new album purchase that has automatically downloaded to your iPhone.
