You can share a Reminders list with other iCloud users from the Mac or iCloud.com
Set the default reminders list and sync frequency
If you have several reminders lists, one is the default that all new reminders are assumed to be-
long to unless you specify a different list. So how do you specify what the default list is?
On an iOS device, you set the default reminders list in the Settings app. Go to the Reminders
pane, tap the Default List section, and then tap the name of the list you want to use most often. In
this pane, you also can set how far back you want your reminders to sync, starting with reminders
created two weeks ago to the beginning of time (All Reminders).
On a Mac, you can't set the default reminders list. So be sure to select the desired list first in the
app before creating a new reminder. You also can't set how far back to sync reminders; all reminders
are synced so your Mac has the full set forever.
Create and Share Notes
You can use the Notes app to created synced notes on iOS devices, Macs, and on any device via
the iCloud.com website, as well as sync notes created on third-party e-mail services if linked to the
Notes app. Notes are simple text documents that remain in sync on all your iCloud devices and in-
clude options for formatting and adding attachments.
1. Launch the Notes app on an iOS device, via the iCloud.com website, or on a Mac.
2. Click the Add button (the + icon) to create a new note; on the Mac, you can also press Com-
mand+N.
3. Tap the main note area and type your note's text (see Figure 7-13).
