Finding an iPhone via iCloud.com
From the Find My iPhone app:
1. On an iPhone or iPod Touch, tap on the device you want to locate, or tap All Devices. A map
appears showing the device's or devices' location. On an iPad, tap the Devices button to
open a pop-over from which you select the device you are trying to find (see Figure 6-8), or
tap the All Devices button to see all devices; either way, the selected device or devices ap-
pear on the map.
2. If you tapped All Devices, tap the green bubble for a device to see what it is; tap the i button
to open the controls for that device. If you selected a single device on the iPad, the controls
appear automatically at the upper right of the screen. If you selected a single device on the
iPhone or iPod Touch, tap the More button ( ) to display the controls at the bottom of the
screen.
3. Use the control buttons at the bottom of the screen to perform actions on the device, includ-
ing playing a sound, locking the device, or erasing its data. (Playing a sound is handy if you
suspect it's under a cushion or pile of papers in your home, for example.)
