Turning on Location Services and adjusting individual apps' permissions for your loca-
tion information in the Settings app
On a Mac:
1. Choose Apple > System Preferences to open the System Preferences application.
2. Go to the Security & Privacy system preference.
3. Click the lock icon at the lower left of the window and enter your account login information
(or an administrator's credentials) so you can make changes to this system preference.
4. Go to the Privacy pane and click Location Services in the list at left.
5. Select Enable Location Services to turn on Location Services, or deselect the option to turn
it off.
6. A list of apps that use your location appear in the pane at right; deselect any that you don't
want to track your location.
7. Quit System Preferences when done.
