Do You Already Have iCloud?
It's simple enough to forget that you created an iCloud account when you first set up your iOS
device or even switched from a MobileMe account when iCloud launched. Fortunately, it's easy to
check whether iCloud is currently running or if you have created an iCloud account.
For iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users:
1. Tap the Settings app icon on your device's Home screen to open the Settings app.
2. Scroll the list of settings to the iCloud label and tap it to open the iCloud pane, shown in Fig-
ure 1-3.
3. If there is an e-mail address listed in the Account field, you have iCloud running on your
device.
For Mac users:
1. Choose Apple > System Preferences or click the System Preferences icon in your Dock to
open the System Preferences application.
2. Click iCloud in the System Preferences app window to open the iCloud system preference
(shown in Figure 1-4).
3. If your name appears below the iCloud logo and a list of services are shown on the right of
the pane, your computer is connected to iCloud. Click your name to show the e-mail account
used for iCloud.
