Access Photo Stream photos on an Apple TV
Once you're signed in via your iCloud account:
1. On the Apple TV, go to the Photo Stream screen by selecting the Photo Stream badge at the
bottom of the list of services.
2. A screen appears showing your Photo Stream and any Shared Photo Streams you are sub-
scribed to. Select the desired Photo Stream to view it.
3. You'll see tiles for the available photos. Use the arrow buttons on the Apple TV control to
navigate to a specific photo, then press the Enter button (the center button) to display that
photo in full-screen view.
4. If you want the Apple TV to play back all the photos as a slideshow starting with the selected
photo, press the Play button ( ).
5. Press Menu to go back to the tiles to select a different photo.

an Apple TV
The basic slideshow playback capability on the Apple TV is nice, but it can do more than that.
When viewing photos shared from a computer or from a Photo Stream, note the Slideshow button at
the top of the Apple TV's screen.
1. Select the Slideshow button at the top of the screen using the Enter button on the Apple
TV's remote control.
2. Scroll down and select the Shuffle Photos setting if you want your photos to display in ran-
dom order.
3. Go to the Repeat Photos section. Set this option to On if you want the slideshow to keep re-
peating; set it to Off to have the slideshow run through the images just once.
4. If you want music to play during the slideshow, select Default Music to pick a playlist or en-
tire collection of songs from your iTunes library or from your iTunes Match library. (Set the
option to None so no music plays during your slideshow.)
5. If you want to change the theme for the slideshow's transitions, scroll down to the Themes
section and select a theme from the list. A preview of the selected theme appears behind the
Slideshow Settings screen so you can get a feel for the style you have chosen before commit-
ting to it.
6. When you're happy with your settings, scroll to the top of the menu and select Start
Slideshow to begin playing the slideshow.
The settings you choose for your slideshow will remain in place for all future slideshows until you
change them. Thus, after setting your preferred slideshow options, you just need to press the Play
button (
) to use them in other slideshows.
