Access Your Photos on an Apple TV
An Apple TV can access photos stored on your computer and in your Photo Stream.
To access the photos on your computer, the Apple TV needs to be signed into the same Home
Sharing account as the computer that has the photos, and iTunes needs to be running on that com-
puter.
• Sign in to Home Sharing on the computer in iTunes by choosing File > Home Sharing >
Turn Home Sharing On.
• On your Apple TV, go to the Settings screen, choose Computers, choose Turn On Home
Sharing, and sign in with the same Home Sharing account as the computer uses.
To access the photos in your Photo Stream, the Apple TV needs to be signed into your iCloud ac-
count and Photo Stream needs to be enabled:
1. Go to the Settings screen on your Apple TV and choose iTunes Store from the menu. If no
iCloud account appears, choose Sign In, enter your iCloud e-mail address, then click the
Submit button. Enter your password, then click the Submit button.
2. Go to the Photo Stream screen on the Apple TV.
• If you're not signed in to iCloud, you'll see the Photo Stream Setup screen, where you can
choose to connect to the current iCloud account's Photo Stream or to sign in with an oth-
er account.
• If you want to watch someone else's Photo Stream, scroll down and choose Settings, then
choose Sign Out in the screen that appears. Go to the Photo Stream screen again and sign
in to that other account. (That account will stay signed in until you sign out of it.)
