RCER was mainly on generation of technology and the implementing
agency PRADAN has played the role of extension agent as well as con-
scious keeper of the dissemination process of technology in the farmers'
field. Based on their expertise, the implementing agency (PRADAN)
played a major role in mobilization of farmers' groups. This effective syn-
ergy resulted in dissemination of technology in to the tribal farming sys-
tem with proper learning of the farmers. Since the tribal farmers have been
trained about the technology based on experiential learning, the technol-
ogy dissemination has become a sustainable one. The overall activity was
a learning experience on the part of ICAR, RCER for successful transfer
of technology by establishment of linkage with implementing agencies of
developmental programs like NGOs through harnessing synergy between
the two partners.
