- MC stands for microbial consortium developed by isolating the native microbes from
the experimental soil (mixture of Azotobacter chrococcum , Bacillus mycoides , Bacillus
polymyxa , Pseudomonas flourescens and Trichoderma harzanium ).
- FYM, Vm, Gm, and RDF stand for farmyard manure, vermicompost, green manuring,
and recommended doses of fertilizers, respectively.
- SMB and SMBN stand for soil microbial population and soil microbial biomass nutrients,
respectively.
